Service Awards | USPA

USPA Service Awards

USPA reserves Service Awards for members who made significant contributions to USPA or USPA's mission. Service awards recognize excellence in areas such as safety, innovation, instruction, and community involvement. USPA members can nominate other members for Lifetime Achievement, Meritorious Service, and Regional Achievement awards. USPA reviews nominations, selects nominees and presents Service Awards to those selected.

Nominations

Any USPA member can nominate another member for service awards. Nominations are submitted to the Member Services committee, who consider nominees who have served skydiving in general and USPA in particular. The committee forwards considerations to the Board of Directors, who vote on the recommendations in private.

Members cannot nominate themselves. Officials serving on the USPA Board of Directors are ineligible to receive service awards during their term of office. Previous nominations may be considered in the future.

Nominations must be received 10 business days prior to the next winter board meeting.
