Central Regional Director Gary Peek Passes

Gary Peek, D-8884, who had served on USPA’s board of directors for 23 years, was found dead in his home in St. Charles, Missouri on August 13. Authorities cited natural causes. He was 65. Gary had been elected as USPA’s Central Regional Director beginning in 1997 and had been reelected in every board election since. Gary had over 8,200 jumps and was an active AFF and tandem instructor. A full recap of his USPA service will appear in the October Parachutist.
