Back-Tracking—A Parachutist Anniversary Series

The Parachutist staff has uncovered a lot in the six months we’ve put together this pictorial series. While it’s generally preferable to know the details of a photo so that we can caption it accordingly, that hasn’t always been possible here. We’ve found some of the best shots on archive room shelves and long-defunct websites, or from questionable characters in dimly lit alleyways. We don’t always know the stories behind them.

So, in the hopes that these photos find the eyes of the jumpers who were there, this month’s “Back-Tracking” features the shots that still have us asking questions. Send any information or submissions to Luke Jones at ljones@uspa.org.
