Each year, more than half a million people enjoy the life-changing experience of jumping out of an airplane for the first time. United States Parachute Association members, numbering around 42,000 along with about a half million first-timers, made roughly 4 million skydives last year at more than 230 USPA-affiliated skydiving centers across the country.

USPA Seeks New Director of Government Relations

 

After more than 14 years at USPA, Director of Government Relations Randy Ottinger has announced his retirement effective in May. USPA is searching for a person to fill the position immediately. The director of government relations reports to USPA’s executive director and is responsible for interacting with federal, state and local government agencies involved in aviation matters and assisting members and drop zones with airport and airspace access issues.
