Rating Course Directors
AFF Instructor Rating Course Directors Accelerated Freefall Certification course directors are appointed by the USPA Board Of Directors. Requirements to qualify for the appointment can be found in the Instructional Rating Manual and in the IRM Essentials document on the USPA website. They may hold AFF Training Camps and AFF Certification Courses. Course Directors may also work with expired AFF Rating holders who require evaluation jumps as part of their recertification process.
AFF Instructor Rating Course Designated Evaluators Accelerated Freefall Certification Course designated evaluators may work with candidates who need one evaluation jump to finish their AFF Course but could not get the jump done during the course itself. Designated evaluators may also work with expired AFF Rating holders who require evaluation jumps as part of their recertification process. Only course directors, not designated evaluators, may hold complete AFF Certification Courses or AFF Training camps that count towards the AFF Certification Course.
