PIA Symposium to Offer Fun-Jumper Track and Fireside Chats

The Parachute Industry Association announced that it added two new programs to the 2023 PIA Symposium scheduled for February 27-March 3 in Reno, Nevada. The first is a fun-jumper track that focuses on sport skydivers by offering lectures and workshops by industry leaders who will share their knowledge in areas such as freeflying, canopy formation, demo jumping, camera flying, formation skydiving, packing and more.

The second new program will be a series of “fireside chats,” deep-dive interviews in which industry thought leaders will share their stories in the sport. This programming will include question-and-answer sessions with audience members.

The PIA Symposium is the largest skydiving trade show in the world. It brings manufacturers of parachute equipment, riggers, packers, skydivers and military personnel together under one roof. Early bird registration is available with a $100 discount until October 1. More information is available at pia.com/event/2023-pia-symposium/.
