The horizontal stabilizer of this aircraft sustained damage after a wingsuit flyer struck it with his ankle while exiting. The flyer was uninjured. The incident occurred when the jumper’s foot became momentarily caught in the door jamb, which caused his leg wing to open prematurely, before he could fall clear of the tail.

Wingsuit flyers know to keep their wings collapsed on exit, but they should also think through and mentally rehearse unexpected circumstances. Wingsuit flyers should imagine the scenarios that would create an unstable exit and mentally rehearse collapsing all flight surfaces.
