Tribe of The Traveling Tiki held its Beach Boogie—officially a three-day demo event—July 10-12 in Melbourne Beach, Florida. Sixty-eight jumpers from around the country attended the event, which featured jumps from a Super Caravan and exclusively beach landings.

Tribe of the Traveling Tiki organizers Jeff Holmstock, Bill Flynn and Hans Rittinger worked with local, state and national agencies, including the Federal Aviation Administration, to make the event happen. The smooth and seamless cooperation of all the organizations involved resulted in 20 loads of skydives, three days of fun in the sun and a perfect safety record. Tribe of the Traveling Tiki is already planning its next themed boogie, the Skydiving Cowboys Rodeo.
