USPA Seeks New Eastern Regional Director

The USPA Board of Directors is seeking a USPA member from the Eastern Region to fill a vacancy on the board. Incumbent Shauna Finley is moving out of the region and is resigning her seat effective June 1. USPA will conduct a special election among members in the Eastern Region to fill the remainder of her term, which extends through 2024. Section 1-4 of the USPA Governance Manual spells out the duties of a USPA Regional Director.

USPA members in good standing who currently reside in the Eastern Region—comprised of Delaware Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania—are eligible for the position. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, be a current USPA member and have at least two years of cumulative USPA membership. To be placed on the ballot, candidates must submit the required election materials and pay the $50 filing fee to USPA Headquarters at uspa.org/election no later than 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, March 15, 2023. The following, which must be submitted online together, are required:

  • Completed Director Candidate Biography form
  • An acceptable photograph
  • A non-refundable $50 filing fee.

The special election period will run for one month only, from April 17 through May 15, 2023

The election winner is expected to attend the USPA Board of Directors Meeting set for July 21-23, 2023, in Spokane, Washington.
