The United States Parachute Association Board of Directors is officially launching a comprehensive member survey to gather feedback for a new long-term strategic planning initiative. Following discussions over the last few board meetings, including the Winter 2026 meeting in Los Angeles, the board, which represents more than 40,000 members, has prioritized a fresh look at the association’s direction to ensure it meets the evolving needs of today’s skydivers. With more than 3.4 million jumps made in the U.S. in 2025, USPA is committed to ensuring its infrastructure, safety standards and member needs are all considered as we shape the future.
Your input matters! The USPA Board recognizes that some of the most valuable insights come directly from the drop zone. This survey is designed to gather feedback on:
How our organization is performing in certain key areas
How our sport is doing in your area and overall
The biggest challenges our sport faces and threats now and in the future
What you think USPA should be focused on over the next few years
Being Intentional About Our Strategic Direction
The board has initiated this process to be intentional about addressing the most important challenges to our sport and our members. The upcoming strategic plan will define how USPA can best tackle these challenges.
How to Participate
All current USPA members with a valid email on file will receive an email this week with a unique link to the survey. Members are encouraged to take this opportunity to make their voices heard, directly influencing the goals and priorities of USPA for the coming years. Participation is voluntary, and the results will be used to guide the board's decision-making process, as USPA continues working to provide strong leadership and service to the skydiving community.
