Latin Skydivers Celebrate 60 Years

On September 18, members of the Latin Skydivers—a highly respected Southern California skydiving club—came together at Skydive Elsinore to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the group. The gathering had the air of a reunion, and members came together from all over the region. The Rebel Skydivers also traveled from Arizona to join in the festivities. The Latins have a long history of jumping at Southern California’s drop zones and fielded competitive teams in the early years of relative work (now called formation skydiving). The members enjoyed a beautiful day of jumping, seeing old friends, hearing lots of stories and smiling.
