USPA A-License Requirements and Forms
Members holding a valid USPA A License may jump without supervision, pack their own main parachute, engage in formation skydives, train for and perform landings in water.

A-License Requirements
Official requirements can be found in SIM chapters 1 and 3. In summary, jumpers must:
- Be a current USPA member in good standing (join today)
- Be introduced to the USPA SIM and Governance Manual Section 1-6
- Complete all requirements of the A-License Progression Card or Military Transition Proficiency Card
- Reach a total of 25 jumps (tandem jumps, military freefall and static-line jumps can be counted if documentation is verified)
- Pass the practical exam ("Check Dive")
- Pass the written exam with 75%
- Pass the oral exam with 100%
