Sun Path Issues Service Bulletin (12/13/05)

Sun Path Products, maker of both the Javelin and Odyssey harness and container systems, has issued a service bulletin that affects 36 containers manufactured in 2002. The bulletin requires each container to be returned to the factory for repair before its next use. Each affected container was made with the same roll of red 1000d Cordura fabric for the reserve flaps. This particular roll of fabric was manufactured with a sub-standard urethane coating, which may cause the Cordura to stick together with the F-111 nylon of the reserve pilot chute. The complete service bulletin is available here.
