magazine Insurance USPA members receive third-party liability skydiving insurance as part of membership. USPA members can purchase third-party liability insurance for exhibition jumps, not covered by regular member insurance. Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance is available for an additional fee. Representation USPA is located in Fredericksburg, Virginia, 50 miles south of Washington, D.C., along Interstate 95. The government relations staff at USPA Headquarters includes aviation governing professionals. USPA maintains access at the highest level of the FAA and federal government. These important human resources defend skydiving from those in government and industry who believe U.S. airports and airspace should be reserved for major commercial interests. Licenses and Ratings USPA members may qualify for USPA skydiving licenses, which are international certificates of proficiency. USPA members may earn ratings in the instructional program, as a PRO professional exhibition jumper or as a USPA Judge. For additional information about skydiving licenses and ratings, click here. Awards USPA recognizes its members for years of USPA membership, contributions to the sport of skydiving and to USPA, skydiving skill, and milestones in skydiving experience. USPA sanctions the U.S. Parachuting Championships and selects the U.S. Parachute Team for international competition.
