Following the rules and procedures found in the Skydiver’s Competition Manual, the USPA National Skydiving Championships is awarded through a bid process by the USPA Board of Directors to a USPA Group Member drop zone. The preferred schedule is for all disciplines to be scheduled over a 10-14 day period with events conducted simultaneously or concurrently, and is usually held in the late fall. Its foremost purpose is to recognize national champions in the Artistic Events (freefly, freestyle), Canopy Formation, Formation Skydiving, Freefall Style, Accuracy Landing, Canopy Piloting, and Vertical Formation Skydiving. Additionally, the results of the nationals are used to invite USPA members to participate on U.S. Teams for international competition. The USPA National Skydiving Championships is USPA’s premiere event, giving the entire skydiving industry the opportunity to see and be seen by those who make our sport so exciting.
Champions of prior nationals, as well as published final results from the 2011 nationals can be found here.
