USPA Nationals received excellent media coverage this year. Headquarters staff was on hand throughout the event to coordinate interviews and skydives, provide b-roll and photos, and assist media with direction and coverage. Each day of nationals brought additional reporters and camera crews to Skydive Spaceland to cover a wide range of story angles. The coverage is still ongoing.
In addition to focusing on nationwide coverage, USPA sent press releases to many gold medalists' hometowns, which brought an unprecedented amount of attention to nationals, skydiving in general and individual medalists.
