Would you like to give back to skydiving in a special way? There are two established funds that thrive on donations by skydivers.

The tax-deductible U.S. Parachute Team Trust Fund provides support to members of U.S. Teams chosen to represent the U.S. at many international skydiving competitions.

The Airport Access Defense Fund is dedicated to helping fight governmental actions that could unfairly restrict skydiving’s rightful place on airports and in the national airspace system.

U.S. Parachute Team Trust Fund

USPA established the U.S. Parachute Team Trust Fund in 1986 for the benefit of amateur parachuting team competition. The tax-exempt fund holds all donations in irrevocable trust and the interest it earns is distributed evenly to U.S. Teams for international competition.

Airport Access Defense Fund

More and more, USPA members rely on USPA to preserve public airports and airways for skydiving. Growing aviation needs, difficult economic conditions, and national security interests continuously present challenges for a small group like skydivers to maintain access.

In 1991, USPA established the Airport Access and Defense Fund (AAD Fund) to further the efforts of the association and its members to maintain or gain equal access to airspace and federally funded airports in the U.S. The funds may also be used by the association in efforts to prevent or remove government actions or taxation that affect skydiving and its related activities. Limited financial assistance may be provided to offset a portion of a member's legal expenses in a qualifying concern.
